A Birth Story
As I mentioned on Sunshine Doodle’s birth announcement, her labor and birth wasn’t quite what we had expected, although I can’t really complain about it either.
The plan was to break my water Saturday morning, and we all expected things to progress very quickly based on my history.
We arrived at the hospital at 8:00 a.m. on [...]
Sidney Hope Has Arrived!
Sidney Hope was born at 2:28 p.m. yesterday, Saturday, September 12th, after about 5.5 hours of labor. It was an *interesting* labor, for sure, and I hope to get around to typing up that story as soon as I finish processing it in my head!
She is 20″ long and weighed in at 6 lbs. 13 [...]
Tomorrow is the Day!!!
Whew, what a roller coaster ride the past week has been. Last Friday, I started experiencing crampy contractions and was sure we’d have a baby over the weekend. It’s a Girl!
Cross posted at Organizing Your Way.
This morning we went for our standard mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Although the tech waited until the very end for the “money shot,” my husband and I both knew the instant that she got there that the baby was indeed a girl. We’ve seen those girl parts on an ultrasound four times [...]
Pontificating…again…
There’s been one thing on my mind since we found out we were pregnant again (other than our fears of another miscarriage which were thankfully minimized as my morning sickness intensified)…deciding between a VBAC and repeat c-section.
To give those of you who I don’t know IRL a quick rundown, my first two girls were born [...]
A Guessing Game?
Betcha can’t guess how far along I was in the following belly shots; bonus points for anyone who can guess which pregnancy is which!
