Easy Snacks
(Hmm, do you sense a theme here? Simple crafts, easy snacks? Life has been quite overwhelming lately, so we’ve been simplifying a lot of things!)
I shared a while back that we were loving cinnamon tortilla chips as an afternoon snack, but our current favorite is even easier. We’re all enjoying graham crackers with peanut butter on them (well, not Sweet Doodle – I tend to wait until closer to two years old for peanut butter).
Other easy snacks:
Grapes -or- frozen grapes, known as popsicle grapes here
Cheese and crackers
Packaged peanut butter crackers
Apples or bananas with peanut butter
Granola bars
Pretzels
Pretzels with peanut butter (are you sensing another theme here?)
What are your favorite easy preschool snack foods?

We love dried fruit at our house especially tropical fruits! They are also great to throw in a diaper bag or purse for a snack on the go.
I needed some new ideas! I forgot about apples and pb!BR/BR/We usually do cereal bars, fruit bars and raisins on the road. Then just fruit when we’re at home.
Cheerios…especially for Corinne (my two year old). She likes to lick her finger, then “stick” the Cheerios to them, and then eat it
The Boy loves frozen blueberries and “Apple Dapples,” the cheap-o Applejacks cereal. Not together, though. Bleh. BR/BR/Also he loves the “homemade” apple dippers (get the caramel sundae syrup and just put it in a bowl for dipping - and then supervise. Hahah!)
My kids like snack mix. We make our own with whatever we have in the cabinets-usually Cheerios(or any other dry cereal), raisins, pretzels, goldfish or teddy grahams. We put it in several snack size ziplocs then it goes in the snack place for easy access when I am busy.
Ooh, these are all great ideas that I’ll be adding to my rotation – thanks!
Lots of cereals are good… frosted mini-wheats is one that has not been named. Life; Life is good.BR/BR/Cubed melon or cheese or banana chunks eaten with a tooth pick… especially those cute little pretty toothpicks.
