Baby Doll Accessories

I finished my first set of baby doll accessories for the girls on Sunday, and I’m fairly happy with how they turned out. I forgot to clip the curves in the bib, though – oops!

To make the babydoll bib, I literally just drew a bib shape on a piece of cardstock and cut it out to use as a pattern. For the diaper, I used one of our Bitty Baby diapers to trace. And for the burpcloth (which I think is probably my favorite), I just sewed two pieces of flannel together and then added seams so they’d look like the Gerber cloth diapers that I use for burpcloths!

Yesterday while I was in Wal-Mart, I saw these handtowels and washcloths on sale ($1 for the handtowels, $0.80 for the washcloths), so I grabbed a couple of each to make a hooded towel for their babies too.

I think they’re going to be really excited on Christmas morning, and I’m pretty proud of myself for pulling it off!
