Christmas Gifts – Rag Doll

I finally finished the first of three rag dolls that I’m making for the girls. Well, mostly finished. I might add some detail to her dress (my friend Shaina suggested a crocheted chain sewn on in the shape of a flower, which I think sounds really cute!), but I figured I better get all three done before I worry about that.

I got the pattern from Make Baby Stuff, which has all kinds of great projects, and I’m fairly happy with the way it turned out considering I’m a total amateur when it comes to sewing. I promise you this: if I can make these, so can you! If you use the pattern from the site, I suggest shortening the arms – just look how gangly this girl is!
