Something Old…Something New – Cereal Box Monsters

Pumpkin Doodle is really getting into this “Something Old…Something New” mindset. As I was putting away the groceries on Monday evening, she kept snatching up the boxes and excitedly stashing them in the laundry room for a “project”. I had no idea what we were going to do with them, but she was insistent!

Tuesday morning, she saved the day when she came up with the project all by herself. “Mom, let’s make monsters. Get the googly eyes and sparkly thingies from Aunt Kim.” (Yes, I did remind her to say please, and mean mommy that I am, the Lucky Charms is MY cereal – you know, since I told you I don’t buy sugary cereal for the girls all the time!)

I had to help her with some of the assembly, but the idea was all hers, and I think they turned out so cute:
