It’s a Girl!

ultrasound

An older ultrasound from when I was pregnant with Monkey Doodle. Look at her tiny little fists!

Cross posted at Organizing Your Way.

This morning we went for our standard mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Although the tech waited until the very end for the “money shot,” my husband and I both knew the instant that she got there that the baby was indeed a girl. We’ve seen those girl parts on an ultrasound four times now, after all!

We couldn’t be more excited, and we are counting the days until this little one joins our family. Our 4-year-old said, “God knew I wanted another sister!”

My grandmother is coming to visit in a few weeks, so we’ll pull out all the itty bitty baby clothes then and get them organized and ready for Sidney Hope’s arrival in late August or early September! I can’t wait!
