I don’t remember ever being this fascinated with them before, but now I could watch them for hours.br /br /We don’t have any mature trees around our house so we don’t have any bird feeders, but I love to watch them flying. There is one type that is so playful as they speed through the air swooping and chasing each other in circles. I need to get a book so I can figure out what they are!br /br /Anyway, Brittany had posted this a href=”http://www.clarke-family.net/brittany/bird-brain”adorable bird craft/a and we happened to have all of the supplies on hand so I set the girls up to make them on Saturday.br /br /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207461594212075922″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SESeusiACZI/AAAAAAAAAOc/5qxtOafAENw/s320/Birds+of+a+Feather.JPG” border=”0″ /br /I put glue in little paint containers with brushes (our preferred method for working with glue) and gave each of the girls a toilet paper role and pile of feathers. I made little beaks and feet out of pipe cleaner, but to be honest they were uhard/u to glue on, so I’m not sure I’d go through the trouble again! But overall, it was a really cute craft and one that I can see us doing again in future years. Thanks, Brittany! divdivbr /divbr /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207461783190636962″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SESe5siACaI/AAAAAAAAAOk/oqiVUxzKzy8/s320/Concentrating+blog.JPG” border=”0″ / img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5207461985054099890″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SESfFciACbI/AAAAAAAAAOs/5tE9M3Vxojc/s320/Concentrating+2+blog.JPG” border=”0″ /br /a href=”http://www.mylivesignature.com/” target=”_blank”img style=”BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none” src=”http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54486/128/0E4A8EA9D2A4A002FC32D3D163051882.png” //a/div/div/div

Great idea with the pipe cleaners! They look great!
Those are ADORABLE!! Maybe could you stick the pipe cleaners through the toilet paper roll next time and just bend the ends inside to keep them from falling back out? Just a thought! Love all the fun stuff you do with them… will you adopt me please? (A)
