Doodle-isms

I often send my mom emails with cute little sayings from the girls, and I thought some of these were blog worthy:

Me: I think I felt the baby kick.

Monkey Doodle (3yo): Did it hurt?

Me: No, I like it. It kind of tickles.

Monkey Doodle: Well, when I was a mommy, it hurt me.

——–

Pumpkin Doodle (4.5yo): “Purple warblers are a kind of a bird that goes to the South Pole to live. if they don’t and they stay in the warm places, they could shrivel up and die. The cold places keep them from dying. If they die, then they won’t be able to get food for their babies. And hawks, unfortunately, could eat the baby birds.”

(I have no idea if this is true or not! I think she may have gotten it from her Tag animal cards, but I’m not sure.)

While eating graham crackers for snack…

Pumpkin Doodle: Monkey Doodle, don’t eat like a beaver!
