Family Flowers

This idea originally came from a href=”http://www.first-school.ws/t/famhands.htm”here/a, but rather than using that printed template, I just cut the stem and leaves out of green construction paper and the pots out of white cardstock. I traced two of each of our handprints on different colored construction papers, and while the girls decorated their pots, I cut all the handprints out.br /br /pimg id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5197078401615631170″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SB-7RV4nk0I/AAAAAAAAADs/rx8nBJXAvRE/s320/Family+Flower+Ready+to+Go.JPG” border=”0″ //ppWe then glued all of the pieces together to make these adorable “family flowers”. I absolutely love the way they turned out!/pbr /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5197078646428767058″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SB-7fl4nk1I/AAAAAAAAAD0/zhhufuj91Ug/s320/Family+Flowers.JPG” border=”0″ /br /a href=”http://www.mylivesignature.com/” target=”_blank”img style=”BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none” src=”http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54486/128/0E4A8EA9D2A4A002FC32D3D163051882.png” //a

  1. Cute!! You’ve inspired me…I was trying to find some cute ideas for the girls’ Mother’s Day cards to send to the grandmothers…this is perfect! Speaking of construction paper…we made some cute “Froggies” out of it…I think it’s the craft time problem solver :) (You can see a picture of them on our family site)

  2. I saw those froggies yesterday, Brittany. So, so cute! They’re now on my list to do with the girls!
