Last year we started the tradition of making ornaments for the grandparents, and I realized that a smaller version of these would be perfect this year.br /br /To make, use a Christmas tree template to cut out two felt Christmas trees for each ornament (I’m thinking 3″-4″ from top to bottom would be good). Glue buttons to both trees. Once the glue is dry, use an exacto knife or other tool to punch holes around the edge and then lace with ribbon or string (or twine might be pretty too with the right buttons!). Leave a small opening at the bottom to stuff the ornament and then finish lacing. Add a ribbon at the top for hanging the ornaments. br /br /br /a href=”http://www.mylivesignature.com/” target=”_blank”img style=”BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none” src=”http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54486/128/0E4A8EA9D2A4A002FC32D3D163051882.png” //a
