Full Disclosure

Yesterday Benny left a comment, and at the end she said:

“Thanks for the good ideas. You are so full of energy and excitement about those kids of things. You are very inspiring!”

I just wanted to assure you that while I don’t post pictures from my grumpy, unmotivated days, I do have them. In fact, yesterday – yes, on our fourth official day of homeschooling – I cancelled school about halfway through because I was just too tired and grumpy. Instead, I told Pumpkin Doodle to pick a movie, a LONG movie, and we all laid on the couch and watched Cars together.

It was just what I we needed, and today was much better!

  1. LOL!! I’ll remember that tactic on our first week of school - have a movie ready just in case. Got it!

Marci@OvercomingBusy’s last blog post..How did God bless you this week?

  2. The ability to “monitor and adjust” when you realize that things are going downhill is wonderful! Sounds like it turned out to be a great day anyway.

  3. HA! I just now read this (not spending much time on the computer these days…) and I had to laugh.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who can look good in print but still have very human moments as well. ;o)

You do still inspire. Even if you do have hours of movie time on the couch, you most definitely put a lot of time and energy into planning and doing school and craft stuff with your girls. And you take the time to post about it.

    So keep it up.

And do occasionally post about the grumpy movie days, too. ;o)
