Juicy, Red, Ripe, Delicious, Homegrown… STRAWBERRIES!!

dsc03590
We picked our first harvest of strawberries yesterday, and oh my! If you remember my first post about my strawberries, the cards were really stacked against these plants, and I spent weeks praying that the plants would survive…and then thrive. And thrive they did! There is absolutely nothing I did to make them grow so amazingly well, and just like I said I would, I want to literally thank my God for blessing the fruits of my efforts (I couldn’t resist!)

And now we’re off to enjoy some yummy, fresh, straight-from-the-garden strawberries in our breakfast parfaits!

  1. I am super jealous! These look absolutely delicious!

  2. Those look great. Congrats on the fruits of your labor!

  3. yum! those look good!

  4. They look great! We have wild blackberries (that we didn’t plan, nor do we tend to…I seem to kill things I plant)…so I’m super proud of you that you did this all on your own!
