Painting with Glue

This project is always a HUGE hit with my girls. And really, while glue can be intimidating when it comes to little ones, I find that the mess is not too bad when we do it this way, and any mess we make can be cleaned with water fairly easily. divdivbr //divdivTo start, I always stick Monkey Doodle in her booster seat for this one just because I don’t want glue tracked through the whole house. /divdivbr //divdivThen I get everything I need ready: two small paint jars with white glue poured in the bottom, two paint brushes, cardstock and whatever it is they’ll be gluing (foam pieces, construction paper shapes, buttons, feathers, a href=”http://mythreedoodles.blogspot.com/2008/05/birthday-cards-for-pop.html”noodles/a, etc. all work well)./divdivbr //divimg id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199894302322287042″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SCm8UVd_YcI/AAAAAAAAAG8/TKkYLvxn8c0/s320/Glue.JPG” border=”0″ /br /br /In this case, I actually had a baggy of “green” things and a baggy of precut squares ready to go. However, they finished so quickly that I had to get out some foam pieces for them to make a second picture each.br /br /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199895118366073298″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SCm9D1d_YdI/AAAAAAAAAHE/cqX2NI89Gco/s320/Gluing+4+blog.JPG” border=”0″ //divimg id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199895122661040610″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SCm9EFd_YeI/AAAAAAAAAHM/Xh9Hh6ExHN4/s320/Gluing+Flowers+2+blog.JPG” border=”0″ /br /br /I only got finished pictures of the first two because the girls gave the other ones to Sean’s mom when she was here for a visit, and I forgot to take pictures first, but they’re very proud to show everyone their work:br /br /divimg id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199896196402864626″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SCm-Cld_YfI/AAAAAAAAAHU/20gOkuAal6g/s320/Gluing+Green.JPG” border=”0″ / div/divimg id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5199896196402864642″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SCm-Cld_YgI/AAAAAAAAAHc/T600Vnrj0yk/s320/Gluing+Squares.JPG” border=”0″ /br /div/divdiv/divdivimg style=”BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none” src=”http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54486/128/0E4A8EA9D2A4A002FC32D3D163051882.png” //div/div
