Y’all, you know that feeling when you’re first falling in love? The one that makes your heart feel like it’s going to beat right out of your chest, a mixture of joy and exhilaration that flows through your whole body?

I kinda thought that you only got to experience that feeling once during a relationship…at  the beginning.

But you know what?

I am so totally head-over-heels in love with my husband that I want to shout it from the rooftops.

I’ve shared before that when Sweet Doodle was a baby we could hardly stand to be in the room with each other and it felt like all we ever did was fight, but we stuck it out, and I don’t think we’ve ever been better together than we are now.

After ten years together and with three little ones underfoot, you’d think we’d be tired of each other by now, but I can’t get enough of that man! He called a few minutes ago to tell me he’ll be home from work early and wants to go for a family walk before the girls’ nap, and I’m like a giddy school girl who’s been asked out by the captain of the football team.

I recently had a conversation with some of the other editors at Blissfully Domestic about the phrase “the best husband in the world.” Truth is, I can’t say that about Sean, and I wouldn’t expect him to say I was the best wife in the world. We both have more than our fair share of faults.

But you know what?

He’s the only one I want.
