Redskins Training Camp and Football Cupcakes
The day started out rainy and gross, and we almost cancelled our plans, but in the end, we decided to head out to Redskins’ Training Camp after all. We put everyone in the car in their pajamas (it was 6:30 a.m., after all!), stopped for McDonald’s breakfast on the way and arrived just as things got rolling, thankfully without the rain!br /br /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5226382478920488850″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SIfXLIxhl5I/AAAAAAAAAeo/5tyNmT9Hmow/s320/Daddy+and+His+Redskinettes+small.jpg” border=”0″ /br /I was too busy watching the girls so that Sean could watch practice to catch much of what was going on, but I love the atmosphere of training camp, with all of the dedicated fans in a sea of jerseys. The kids always end up putting together their own games of football on the sidelines, and I love to watch them, even if I do sometimes have to guard my girls from getting run over as the game comes towards us!br /br /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5226382482254306306″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SIfXLVMXnAI/AAAAAAAAAew/6d-1U8-rQUs/s320/Silly+Girl+7+small.jpg” border=”0″ /br /When we got home, I got everyone settled and then got to work on Sean’s birthday a href=”http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/special/cake/cake-football-cupcake/”football cupcakes/a. I didn’t have as much time as I would have liked, so I didn’t get to add as much detail as I could have (I’d love to do pretzel stick goal posts next time!), but overall, I think they turned out cute. And, um, I never knew that you could just buy chocolate covered almonds to eat straight out of the bag…YUM! (Hey, I still have 8 days until a href=”http://mythreedoodles.blogspot.com/2008/07/join-me-for-revolutionary-fast-this.html”my chocolate fast/a begins!)br /br /img id=”BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5226382480890113026″ style=”DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; CURSOR: hand; TEXT-ALIGN: center” alt=”" src=”http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_PoXHVGzLUGI/SIfXLQHHrAI/AAAAAAAAAe4/zyyvdwzaU8o/s320/Football+Cupcake+small.jpg” border=”0″ /br /br /a href=”http://www.mylivesignature.com/” target=”_blank”img style=”BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none” src=”http://signatures.mylivesignature.com/54486/128/0E4A8EA9D2A4A002FC32D3D163051882.png” //abr /br /––––-–––––-––––––––-–––––––-––––-––––––-–-––––––-–––-–-–––br /span style=”font-size:85%;”Join us this month for a href=”http://mythreedoodles.blogspot.com/search/label/Christmas%20in%20July”Christmas inbr /July/a.
