Tying Up Loose Ends!

I’m happy to tell you that overwheming nauseousness is no longer my constant companion, and I am actually having more and more good moments the last few days. Now, if I could just stop sleeping 12+ hours a day, I’d be good to go!

But to tie up a few loose ends…

First, Valerie M is the winner of the Arbonne FC5 Fresh Cells Giveaway. Congratulations, Valerie, and I’ll email you in a few minutes to get your shipping address!

Second, it wasn’t very nice of me to post my belly shots and then not give you the answers! I was laughing because the people I know in real life pegged it – you could figure out which pregnancy was which because each was taken in a different house! Hey, we were young when we got married, and it took us a while to get settled. But we don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon (of course, since there are 2 brand new houses in our neighborhood that have been on the market for over two years, I don’t think we could go anywhere even if we wanted to). See answers below:

Next, I have ONE picture to share with you from BlissDom. I’m so disappointed that I didn’t get more pictures. No picture with Alli, aka Mrs. Fussypants. No picture with Tara from Deal Seeking Mom. No picture with Tsh from Simple Mom. I am glad that the picture I got was with Amanda from Oh Amanda! and her adorable baby boy, Asa.

After all my talk about her being my BFF and not knowing it, I was a little nervous, but I had SUCH a great time spending time with her and really enjoyed talking about blogging and just chatting about life. She even brought us a gift for our newest Doodle – the most adorable “I Love Mommy” onesie. How sweet was that?

Finally, despite my nauseousness and exhaustion, BlissDom was inspiring and a great opportunity to think through my vision and goals for each of my blogs. As I transcribed the sessions (they’re on sale at the BlissDom Conference site!), I was reminded of so many great ideas, tips and inspirational quotes that I copied and bookmarked for myself.

Overall, what I realized is that while Doodles’ Place has become my diary over the last few months as I’ve dealt with my miscarriage and this pregnancy, what I really want is to get back to my original vision. As I continue to feel better and better, I hope to get back to posting more fun and easy crafts and activities, kid-friendly and easy recipes and adorable and easy cupcakes (sense the theme there?).

I appreciate those of you who have stuck around through all of my ramblings, those of you who have continued to pray for this baby and our family and those of you who have shared your own stories with me! Doodles’ Place may not be the biggest blog on the web, but I think I’ve got the best readers, and I appreciate all of you!
