Surfin’ the Net: Links Too Fun Not to Share!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared the crafts, activities, recipes and stories that I’ve been bookmarking, and I’ve got some great ones this week.

Fun and Healthy Preschool Bentos. I’ll admit I haven’t been making as many fun lunches as I’ve been dealing with morning sickness, but this post from Wendolonia – and her pictures! – have inspired me to get back to it!

Passionate Peacock Pearl Drop Earrings. These earings from PamperingBeki are gorgeous.

Grace Violet is one of my new favorite blogs. She’s incredibly talented, and yet most of the projects she posts are ones that even I can pull off. Like these:

Homemade Bloomers

Easy Summer Dresses

Dish Towel Skirts

Baked Oatmeal. This recipe from my friend Bethany was so easy to make, and the girls and I couldn’t get enough of it!

GlaxoSmithKline Makes Low-Cost AIDS Drugs Available to Developing Nations. I know a lot of people see pharmaceutical companies as profit-mongering giants who don’t care about the little people, and I think this article is a good reminder that that stereotype just isn’t true.

Surfin’ the Net from Organizing Your Way. I’ve got some great links for organizing and simplifying your life over at Organizing Your Way as well!

What cool projects or stories did you come across this week?

  1. That oatmeal is fantastic, but I can’t take credit for it. It’s another SL keeper. :) I’m telling as many people as I can about it though because it’s so stinkin’ good!!
